Instructions for use

Can be used from birth as a sole food or as a supplement to breast milk following breastfeeding or other infant formula. Can be given like breast milk as needed – as often and as much as your baby wants to drink. Makes 45 bottles of 100ml each. This product left our premises in perfect condition – please check that the packaging is intact before use. Preparation Please follow the instructions carefully when preparing the food. Improper preparation and storage of the prepared food can lead to health problems, e.g. due to the growth of unwanted germs. Therefore, prepare food fresh before each meal and feed immediately. Do not reuse leftover food. Clean the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly. Do not heat the food in the microwave (risk of scalding). 1. Boil fresh drinking water and cool to approx. 40 - 50°C*. 2. Pour the desired amount of boiled water (see table) into a bottle. 3. Measure the recommended amount of powder (see table). Loosely fill the measuring spoon and level off. Add the powder to the water. 4. Close the bottle and shake vigorously several times. 5. Cool to drinking temperature (approx. 37°C). Check the temperature. *To avoid damaging the natural lactic acid cultures, please do not prepare the food with water that is too hot. Drinking amount and dosage Every baby is different. The amount drunk per bottle can vary greatly. The amounts drunk and the number of portions per day are guidelines. Your baby does not have to drink the bottle completely empty. Please only use the enclosed measuring spoon. For one measuring spoon of powder you need 30 ml of water. 1st-2nd week* (age) 7-8 bottle feeds per day 60 ml boiled water + 2 measuring spoons of powder = 70 ml ready-to-drink food 3rd-4th week (age) 5-7 bottle feeds per day 90 ml boiled water + 3 measuring spoons of powder = 100 ml ready-to-drink food 5th-8th week (age) 5-6 bottle feeds per day 120 ml boiled water + 4 measuring spoons of powder = 135 ml ready-to-drink food 3rd-4th week* (age) 7-8 bottle feeds per day 60 ml boiled water + 2 measuring spoons of powder = 70 ml ready-to-drink food Month (age) 5 bottle feeds per day 150 ml boiled water + 5 scoops powder = 170 ml ready-to-drink formula 5th month** (age) 4-5 bottle feeds per day 180 ml boiled water + 6 scoops powder = 200 ml ready-to-drink formula From 6th month (age) 4 bottle feeds per day 210 ml boiled water + 7 scoops powder = 235 ml ready-to-drink formula *Unless otherwise recommended by a doctor. **From the 5th month, you can start complementary feeding in consultation with your pediatrician or midwife.
