Instructions for use

Aptamil® Pronutra 1 can be given from birth as a sole food or as a supplement. Like breast milk, it can be fed as often and as much as your baby needs. It is suitable until the end of bottle feeding. When preparing Aptamil® Pronutra 1, please follow the instructions carefully. Improper preparation and storage can lead to health problems due to the growth of unwanted germs. Prepare the food fresh before each feeding and feed it immediately. Do not reuse leftover food. Clean the bottle, teat, and ring thoroughly. Do not heat milk formula in the microwave (risk of overheating). 1 Allow fresh, boiled drinking water to cool to approx. 40°C and pour 2/3 of the required amount of water into the bottle. 2 For an accurate powder dosage, level off the enclosed measuring spoon with the back of a knife. Use only the enclosed measuring spoon. 3 Pour the required amount of powder into the bottle. 4 Close the bottle and shake vigorously vertically for approx. 10 seconds, add the remaining drinking water and shake vigorously again. 5 Open the bottle and attach the teat. Check that the bottle contents are at drinking temperature (approx. 37°C). Aptamil® Pronutra Infant Milk from Birth Dosage: The number of bottles and feeding amounts are guidelines and may vary from person to person. One scoop of powder requires 30 ml of water. A level scoop contains 4.7 g. **From the age of 5 months, you can begin complementary feeding in consultation with your pediatrician or midwife. Each complementary feeding should replace one bottle feed.
