Instructions for use

Directions: From birth as a sole food or as a supplement to breast milk. Following breastfeeding or any other hydrolyzed infant formula. Can be given like breast milk as needed – as often and as much as your baby wants. This product left our factory in perfect condition – please ensure that the packaging is intact before use. Best before: see bottom of pack. Makes 45 x 100 ml bottles. Preparation: Carefully follow the instructions for use. Improper preparation and storage of prepared food can lead to health problems, e.g., due to the growth of unwanted germs. Therefore, prepare food fresh before each meal and feed immediately. Do not reuse leftovers. Clean the bottle, teat, and ring thoroughly. Do not heat the food in the microwave (risk of scalding). 1. Boil fresh drinking water and cool to approx. 40 - 50°C*. 2. Pour the desired amount of boiled water (see table) into a bottle. 3. Measure the recommended amount of powder (see table). Loosely fill the measuring spoon and level off. Add the powder to the water. 4. Close the bottle and shake vigorously several times. 5. Cool to drinking temperature (approx. 37°C). Check the temperature. *To avoid damaging the natural lactic acid cultures, please do not prepare the food with water that is too hot. The powder is subject to natural color variations due to the raw materials. Amount consumed and dosage: Every baby is different. The amount consumed per bottle can vary greatly. The amounts consumed and the number of portions per day are guidelines. Your baby does not necessarily have to drink the entire bottle. Please only use the enclosed measuring spoon. For one measuring spoon of powder you need 30 ml of water. 1 level measuring spoon = approx. 4.4 g HiPP HA 1 COMBIOTIK® 1st-2nd week*: 7-8 bottle feeds per day, 60 ml boiled water + 2 measuring spoons of powder = 70 ml ready-to-drink formula. 3rd-4th week: 5-7 bottle feeds per day, 90 ml boiled water + 3 measuring spoons of powder = 100 ml ready-to-drink formula. 5th-8th week: 5-6 bottle feeds per day, 120 ml boiled water + 4 measuring spoons of powder = 135 ml ready-to-drink formula. 3rd-4th month: 5 bottle feeds per day, 150 ml boiled water + 5 scoops of powder = 170 ml ready-to-drink formula. From 5th month**: 4-5 bottle feeds per day, 180 ml boiled water + 6 scoops of powder = 200 ml ready-to-drink formula. From 6th month: 4 bottle feeds per day, 210 ml boiled water + 7 scoops of powder = 235 ml ready-to-drink formula. *Unless otherwise recommended by a doctor. **From the 5th month, you can begin complementary feeding in consultation with your pediatrician or midwife. With each new and fully introduced complementary feeding, one bottle feed should be omitted.
