Instructions for use

Aptamil HA 1 can be given from birth as a sole food or as a supplement. Like breast milk, it can be fed as often and as much as your baby needs. It is suitable until the end of bottle feeding. Dosage & Preparation The number of bottles and drinking amounts are guidelines and can vary from person to person. For 1 measuring scoop of powder you need 30 ml of water. One level measuring scoop holds 4.7 g. From the 5th month you can start complementary feeding in consultation with your pediatrician or midwife. Each complementary feeding should replace one bottle feeding. When preparing Aptamil HA* 1 please follow the instructions carefully. Improper preparation and storage can lead to health problems due to the growth of unwanted germs. Prepare the feed fresh before each feeding and feed it immediately. Do not reuse leftover food. Clean the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly. Do not heat milk formula in the microwave (risk of overheating): 1 Allow fresh, boiled drinking water to cool and use at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Pour 2/3 of the required amount of water into the bottle. 2 For precise powder dosing, wipe off the enclosed measuring spoon on the wiper. Use only the enclosed measuring spoon. 3 Pour the required amount of powder into the bottle. Store the measuring spoon in the spoon holder. 4 Close the bottle and shake vigorously vertically for approximately 10 seconds, add the remaining drinking water and shake vigorously again. 5 Open the bottle and attach the teat. Check the bottle contents for drinking temperature (approx. 37°C). Standard resolution: 14.2 g powder + 90 ml water = 100 ml ready-to-drink food.
